Our procedures during COVID-19…

Social Distancing is required throughout the building!

All visitors are required to maintain six feet of separation between staff and other visitors except those in their customer group.

Face masks are required!

Masks must be worn by all visitors, staff, and volunteers when in any public space at the museum. A notice is posted to remind visitors to wear masks as they enter the museum. We have masks available for you, if you forget!

Signage and Floor Decals!

We have signage at all entry points to the building and throughout the building, reminding people of social distancing requirements. Floor markers will help indicate proper six foot distance.

Singular Path Walkthrough!

In order to avoid close contact with other visitor groups, we have indicated a singular path walkthrough of the permanent and temporary exhibit galleries!

Hand Sanitizing Stations!

Hand sanitizer is available for visitors, and located at stations throughout the museum.

Enhanced Cleaning Procedures!

Staff is cleaning high-touch surfaces areas throughout the building on a regular schedule throughout the day!

Stylus Pens are Offered to Visitors for our Touchscreen Displays!

Other hands-on portions of the exhibits are temporarily unavailable during the pandemic.

Humphrey Heritage Village

Because the historic woodworking in the Humphrey Heritage Village cannot hold up to repeated cleanings, the buildings in the Village are temporarily closed to the public.
