History Alive! on the Cherokee Strip

Visit the Cherokee Strip Regional Heritage Center and step back in time to experience life in the Cherokee Outlet during History Alive! on the Cherokee Strip, which takes place in the Humphrey Heritage Village!

On the first and third Saturday of each month, the historic buildings in the Village come alive with living-history reenactors, who are doing homestead chores, teaching school, or socializing at the Village Church. Visitors can learn about different skills and trades of the time, or file a land claim in the Land Office. Visitors will be able to participate in hands-on activities such as rag doll making, carpentry, sewing, land surveying, and more!

This event takes place from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on the first and third Saturday of every month and is included in the regular price of admission at no extra cost.
