Liquid History: Off the Vine
Join us on Friday, April 10, from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm for this exciting event of exploration, drinks, and more! Local wineries, along with our historical interpreters, will take you through the rich history of the grape industry and wine production in Oklahoma. You will be guided through the Humphrey Heritage Village while sampling varieties of wine from Vernost Wine and Twisted and Tangled Winery! Watonga Cheese Factory and Lynch Family Farms will be providing snack pairings to accompany the evening.
Learn how wine is intertwined with Oklahoma’s history, as well as its ever-evolving horticulture and agritourism industries, as grape growing and wine production have been an important part of our story since before statehood. Guests will even hear from the Oklahoma Department of Agriculture’s Viticulture and Enology Coordinator, Madison Franklin!
Liquid History takes place on Friday, April 10, and is part of our Museum After Dark series of events. The evening is sponsored in part by Watonga Cheese Factory and Lynch Family Farms! Special thanks to both Vernost and Twisted and Tangled for providing wine!
