Museum After Dark: Liquid History
Liquid History
Join us in an exciting event full of exploration, drinks, and more! Our mixologists and historical interpreters will take you through the history of popular cocktails, exploring rich and delightful recipes in the past two centuries that have been crafted and passed down from generation to generation. You’ll be guided through the Humphrey Heritage Village and experience everything from classic concoctions to the stories surrounding them as we mix together both cocktails and history.
Liquid History takes place on Friday, April 7th, and is part of our monthly Museum After Dark series of events. Ticketed group tours start at 6 pm, with time slots every half hour. Liquid History will take place concurrently with the opening of Frozen in Time: A Photographic History of Northwestern Oklahoma, a special exhibition featuring the works of local photographers Mike Klemme and Wess Gray, along with early regional photographers William S. Prettyman, William Edson, and Richard J. “Dick” McConkay. Klemme and Gray will be on site to talk about the exhibit and their work.
The admission price for the opening of Frozen in Time is the regular cost of admission, while the Liquid History event is $40 per ticket.
You must be 21 years of age to attend this event.
We would like to give a special thanks to our community sponsors Jimmy Nicholas – Nicholas Residential Real Estate, Enid Buzz, and Enid Hubbub for sponsoring Liquid History.
Also, a special thanks to Security National Bank, who is sponsoring our Frozen in Time Exhibit Opening on the same night!
