Oral Histories
Capturing the priceless stories of its people is another way the Cherokee Strip Regional Heritage Center is working to preserve the rich heritage of the region. The Heritage Center has an extensive and growing oral history collection with over 260 interviews available to the public. Copies of oral history interviews are available for purchase in the Research Center. For a full list of available oral history interviews, please contact the Archival Department.

Obituaries and Marriages
The Research Center has a small number of rural newspapers that date to the run. The exact date, and place of death is required for the search. The research fee covers the search of one newspaper.
